Anything you run again and again is worth a template. Spend the setup time once, and from then on it’s a one-click add instead of typing the same shift out every schedule.

If you tag weekends, the weekday and weekend versions of a shift carry different tags — so they’re two templates, not one.

A Schedule Builder only works with the locations and tags you’ve included in that build. A template can’t sneak one in that you left out.
