Draft Setup Power Moves

A draft is cleaner when only the right people are in it. Leaving in someone who shouldn’t pick means awkward fixes later.

The default order is random — genuinely random, and a perfectly fair default. Set it on purpose only when you have a reason: to reward or incentivize someone, or to go by seniority.

Got someone who can only work certain shifts? Let them pick a little early so they lock in what they need before the rush.

A long timer means a long draft. A short one keeps things moving — and if someone’s away, the app picks for them and moves on, so the draft never stalls.

A Schedule Builder lets you choose which locations and tags are in play. Including ones this schedule doesn’t use just clutters the build and muddies the draft.

Every balanceable or primary tag is a rule the draft has to satisfy — so the more you add, the more boxed-in it gets. In Draft mode, trust the rounds to divide the shifts instead.
