The draft isn’t the end. A few clicks and you can swap a shift or give it away. The system is there for you — use it.
Give Away = “I just need OUT — hand it to someone, nothing back.” Swap = “I want THAT specific shift in return.” Using the wrong one wastes everyone’s time.
Giving away a whole shift when you only need an hour off is overkill. Splitting lets you keep the part you can work and hand off just the rest — you still get paid for your half.
The longer your shift sits on the board, the more teammates see it, the better your odds. Don’t wait until the week of.
